The Telangana government proposes to establish 13 transit-oriented growth centres around Outer Ring Road (ORR) with a massive outlay of Rs 14,000 crore. These will be home to various sectors like knowledge, innovation, agriculture and trade etc. The commercial infrastructure of the area sees positive growth, and many income opportunities are coming up in the area.

Real Estate giants like My Home, Aparna and GMR own huge chunks of lands alongside the srisailam highway and plan to build smart city in Maheshwaram in the near furtue.
